Reporting party advised of a subject in the area who was selling magazines. Reporting party was concerned because she knew that there had been a magazine scam on campus before. Officers responded and made contact with the subject and advised the subject that he was on private property. The subject left campus heading toward Alosta Ave.

SATURDAY, JAN. 12, 2008
11:00 P.M.; TRINITY HALL

Reporting party reported a laptop being taken from his room.

SUNDAY, JAN. 13, 2008
11:38 P.M.; CENTER DRIVE
Reporting party was approached by a male subject on her way to her residence. The subject put his hand on the reporting party’s arm, but did not say anything. The reporting party felt intimidated.

MONDAY, JAN. 14, 2008
1:22 P.M.; CAMPUS SAFETY OFFICE
Reporting party reported that they possibly tracked down their laptop on the Internet. Follow-up investigations were conducted. Two stolen laptops were recovered and the suspect was arrested.
