Trinity Hall hosted its first Open Mic Night of the year on Tues. night. Starting at 10 p.m., over 20 students entertained their peers who filled the Trinity lounge. The event lasted just short of two hours and hosted talented musicians and writers. The acts included guitars, bong drums, short stories and poetry. Sounds of laughter and applause could be heard throughout the first floor as students enjoyed the entertainment with drinks and cookies.
“It was such an incredible opportunity to see the unique talents that are on this campus. I was blown away by some people who took the chance to perform their original material for the first time! They made me laugh, they made me cry...all around it was a good time,” junior marketing major and Trinity resident advisor Lisa Devlin said.
